Patience in the Garden
The grower has been patiently waiting for these tomatillos to ripen. It has taken almost 4 months for a single tomatillo to have grown, and even then they were considerably small. Upon further detail, the plant grew to a large size, blocking the neighboring amaranth from full sun exposure. The bush itself seems to want to vine and wrap itself in other plants, possibly owing to its name of Tomatillo de Milpa, translating to Field Tomatillo. With additional support from a tall firm neighboring plant it might've grown even larger and possibly have produced more tomatillos. Perhaps it hasn't been properly domesticated, making it a somewhat wild variety.
