The Sweet Taste of Basil

For a second time, Francisco has been able to donate seeds to us. Here he shares some strawberry seeds that had harvested from plants that he has been growing all summer long. Although strawberries are usually available through cuttings from selected clones, growing from seeds offers the opportunity for growers to have plants that might be better adapted to a specific environment. Apart from the strawberries, two varieties of basil were also shared with us. With many cultivars of basil available, Genova and common basil will be two more varieties that we carry with us here at the seed exchange.
